When Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy attempted to interrupt Amit Shah
during his speech on the topic of drug abuse in India in the Lok Sabha, Amit Shah fired back.
"Dad, I'll take a seat if you want to make a speech.
That's right, you're able to communicate. To interrupt a senior member of parliament like yourself is unbecoming," Amit Shah said to cheers from his party members.
The Home Minister was about to speak when Speaker Om Birla interrupted him to say
"Such things should not happen." Take this (discussion) very seriously, please.
The Home Minister continued by saying that the country's fight against the drug menace was precariously balanced.
