Turkey And Syria: Second Large Earthquake Strikes 

The southeast of Turkey has reportedly been struck by a second major earthquake in less than 12 hours. 

Syrian state media have reported that Damascus was hit by the recent major earthquake

the earthquake was 7.7 on the Richter scale, occurred 67 kilometres (42 miles) north-northeast of Kahramanmaraş

This information was provided by the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). 

The Turkish Authority for Disaster and Emergency Management estimated its magnitude to be 7.6 and its depth to be significantly greater.
