Women's Premier League 2023 Auction

The highest bid of 3.4 Crore was placed by RCB for Smriti Mandhana, who was the first player purchased. 

Overseas players Ashleigh Gardner (GG) and Nat Sciver-Brunt (MI) were the most expensive purchases at 3.2 Crore. 

After Jemimah Rodrigues, DC paid 2.2 billion Indian rupees for Deepti Sharma, the second largest Indian buy. 

Pooja Vastrakar went to MI for 1.9Cr, the same amount RCB spent on Richa Ghosh, and Beth Mooney (GG) and Shafali Verma (DC) sold for 2Cr each. 

The second player up for bidding, Harmanpreet Kaur, was purchased by MI for 1.8 Crore

the third, Sophie Ecclestone, was purchased by UPW for the same amount.

Thirty players from other countries made up the bulk of the 87 who were sold.
