The British pop group Girl Aloud’s star singer Sarah Harding lost her battle against Breast cancer.
However, later on, Sunday, her mother, Marie, informed her demise through Instagram. She wrote in the post,” with a heavy heart; I’m sharing the news of the demise of my beloved daughter Sarah Harding” she added, ” Many of you know about her struggle with the disease which she fought till her last breath, this morning she passed away peacefully.
She described Harding as a beautiful, bright shining star and thanked everyone for their support since last year.
She told how this immense support of fans gave her strength and comfort in her hard times.
Last August, the singer informed the world about her breast cancer suffering; she stated that her cancer has spread into other parts of her body, and her doctor told her she would not make it till Christmas.
” I decided to announce about my situation, hoping that others who have similar problems would seek help and not leave a diagnosis for last,” Sarah said in her autobiography released in march.
She said she didn’t want an exact prognosis, just “comfort” and to be “pain-free.”
Sarah also wrote in her autobiography about how she put off getting medical help in the beginning when in December 2019, she found some lumps under her arms.
Later, she saw a doctor, and as per advice, she Scheduled her MRI scan, but the covid hit slowed down the process. Either everything was stopped or slow; she says she is aware of the necessity of resolving health issues, but it’s been difficult due to everything happening around.
But when she felt immense pain, she realized the harsh truth. Harding says,” I realized I have to make excuses to seek medical help, sure lockdown and pandemic was going on, but now it’s essential to seek help immediately.
Nicola Robert, her bandmate, paid tribute by posting a heartfelt message for Sarah. Says, “I can’t accept that this day has come. My heart is aching, a part of me or us isn’t here anymore, and it’s unthinkable and painful and utterly cruel, and all-day everything we went through together has raced around my mind.”
She further described her as an electric girl and stated,” you gave everything with a smile.
while her other bandmate Nadine Coyle posted a couple of pictures of Sarah Harding, her battel on Instagram, and wrote, “I’m totally devastated, I can’t explain how I’m feeling about her and what she meant; to me.”

While fellow judge Louis Walsh, who helped create the group, stated he would remember her with great fondness. he added further.
