Google Play Pass is now available in India, and it includes 1000 applications and games without any commercials or in-app purchases.

In India, Google Play Pass is already available and will begin rolling out to Android phones later this week. Users can subscribe to the service, which launched in the United States in 2019, to get access to over 1000 applications and games without commercials or in-app purchases for a monthly or yearly fee. In 90 countries, the Play Pass membership is now available. Apple has a similar programme called Apple Arcade, which provides consumers with complete to selected gaming selections.

The Google Play Pass subscription will begin at Rs 99 per month after a one-month free trial. The monthly fee of Apple Arcade is also the same. Users of Google, on the other hand, can pay Rs 899 for a year’s subscription. In India, Google is also offering a prepaid monthly plan for Rs 109. The monthly fee in the United States is $4.99. According to Google, the service would benefit not only users, but will also provide Indian developers with a “new avenue to extend their global user base and unleash new revenue sources.”

“We want to provide goods and activities that are valuable to the Play community, both consumers and developers, and we’re continually searching for innovative ways to do so.” In a press statement, Aditya Swamy, Director, Play Partnerships, Google India, said, “With the introduction of Play Pass in India, we are delighted to offer a rich library of unlocked titles to our customers and look forward to partnering with additional local developers to deliver incredible experiences people adore.”

What is Google Play Pass and what services does it provide?

Google Play Pass will have a selected selection of 1000+ titles from 59 countries, including many from India, across 41 categories. This is a Rs 99 per month monthly subscription service. When a user accesses an app from this list, it will be completely free to use, with no advertisements or in-app purchases. Play Pass subscriptions can be shared with up to five other family members in the Google family group.
To assure fresh apps on Play Pass, Google stated it will “continue to work with global and local developers to bring new games and apps every month.” Well-known games including Jungle Adventures, World Cricket Battle 2, and Monument Valley are among the Play Pass titles, as are utility programmes like Utter, Unit Converter, and AudioLab, as well as others like Photo Studio Pro, Kingdom Rush Frontiers TD, and many others.
