Joshua Winslow Groban is a singer, songwriter, musician, actor, and record producer from the United States. His first four solo albums were certified multi-platinum, and he was named the top-selling artist in the United States in 2007, with over 22.3 million albums sold. He had sold over 25 million records globally as of 2012. 

Groban began his career as an actor, but when his voice improved, he switched to singing. He went to the Los Angeles County High Institution for the Arts, a free public school on California State University, Los Angeles, that offers a conservatory-style education.[5]At the 1998 Grammy Awards rehearsal, David Foster asked Josh to stand in for an injured Andrea Bocelli and perform a duet with Celine Dion called “The Prayer.”
