We are expecting Samsung to unveil the flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 along with a new Tab S8 series at the event today. What can we expect about Galaxy S22 from the Event?
The star of the show of course will be The Samsung Galaxy S22 along with its siblings. Thanks to numerous leaks, we know pretty much everything about the series. We expect Samsung to include all models in the Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup like the past few years. Customers will reap the benefit of having different screen options at different price points. We can expect to see Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra like other models released earlier. Though we aren’t expecting much change in the overall phone look and the screen size.

It is expected that Samsung Galaxy S22 standard version will come with a flat 6.1-inch 1080 x 2340 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
“Contour Cut” rear camera housing which was released last year with Galaxy S21 is expected to be featured in Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus both. Both the phones should have 50MP main cameras along with a glass backside. The front might house a 10MP camera for selfies. While the main focus of Unpacked 2022 will be the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra might turn up as a real star. Samsung has been indicating that Galaxy S22 Ultra will not be like other Galaxy S smartphones. Rumors have it that Samsung has invested too much efforts in this phone to make it something entirely different from its predecessor and the rest of the series. Galaxy S22 Ultra is one of the expensive and exceptional models and a focused product of Samsung. It will be something special as it is one of the most important phones of the year for Samsung.
Samsung has indicated on various occasions that Galaxy S22 Ultra might have a built-in S Pen. We can expect that Galaxy S22 Ultra will borrow some design features from Galaxy Note. Reportedly, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will come with a 6.8-inch 1440 x 3080 AMOLED screen. The refresh rate of 120Hz, 108MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide, a 10MP telephoto offering 3x optical zoom, and a 10MP periscope with 10x optical zoom. Reportedly, it will come with a 40MP front camera. We expect Galaxy S22 Ultra to have either a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or an Exynos 2200, depending on the region same as the rest of the series. It could include a large rectangular slab with sharp corners, a big screen, and a pop-out S Pen stylus.

It will come in silver, rose gold, and grey colors with a price range starting from €949 (around $1,070 / £790 / AU$1,500) reportedly.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is an entirely new addition to Samsung’s tablet selection. It is because there was no Ultra version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 earlier.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is expected to have a 14.6-inch 1848 x 2960 AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 11,200mAh battery with 45W charging function, a micro SD card slot, S Pen stylus, 13MP, and 5MP rear cameras, and a dual-lens front-facing camera with 8MP and 5MP snappers. It is also expected to come with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 5G optionally connectivity feature. It will only come in grey.
So, if the rumors are true, be ready for a bigger display with higher resolution, extended battery life, extra storage, extra RAM with an additional front-facing camera on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
