Avatar 2 – The way of water to cut a long tale short, the continuous global health crisis has caused the release of Avatar 2 to be moved from December 2021 to December 16, 2022

All of them in Avatar 2 – The way of waters were delayed with the news of a fourth Avatar film, and then they were all delayed one more, with Avatar 2 slated for December 2017

The teaser trailer had its premiere at CinemaCon before being shown exclusively in theatres with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

The original Avatar’s main cast members are all under contract, therefore they will all be present when the movie is released

Set around 14 years after the events of Avatar, Sully is now the clan’s leader and Neytiri its high priestess, albeit the story will mostly concern their offspring

On April 27, 2022, at CinemaCon, the teaser trailer had its debut and the film’s title were both unveiled
