Disney’s Pinocchio: Release Date, Cast, Trailer, And More

A live-action version of the 1940 cartoon film with the same name, Pinocchio, is about to be released. The movie will debut exclusively on Disney+ on September 8, 2022.

According to reports, Sam Mendes was selected to helm the picture in May 2017, and Chris Weitz wrote the screenplay.

Weitz indicated that the screenplay was still being worked on August 21, 2018, and that it was anticipated that production will start in Italy and England in 2019.

Sofia the Seagull is a new character in the adaptation in Pinocchio. In the original film, Geppetto in Pinocchio had spectacles.

Tom Hanks and Robert Zemeckis have collaborated on four occasions; the first was with Forrest Gump, the second with Cast Away, and the third with The Polar Express.

Luke Evans will portray a Disney movie character for the second time; he previously played Gaston in the live-action Beauty and the Beast movie in 2017.

The movie, a live-action adaptation of the 1940 Disney animated classic, will make its global debut on Disney+ on September 8, 2022.
