The team won their first-ever T20 World Cup title and the Australian players went crazy about it for sure. Well, the ‘Men in Yellow’ were drinking from their shoes. It was their way to show how they celebrate their triumph.
The likes of Matthew Wade and Marcus Stoinis removed their shoes. They were seen pouring their drink into their shows which they also drank later as seen in the video. All in all, the team of the Aussies had a blast after their superb performance in the 2021 T20 World Cup. Australia went for a target of 173 to which made them the winners of the 2021 T20 World Cup and the team of New Zealand side had a pretty total of 172/4 on the board. Well, the Aussies needed to score at a run rate of over 8.5 runs and that’s when the Australian batsmen did not panic and did his best.
To make a note of, David Warner proved his worth once again making his fans so proud of him. He was seen scoring a superb 53 at a strike rate of close to 140 and he struck 4 fours and 3 sixes in his innings in the match. Another star player’s knock that is from the willow of Mitchell Marsh went viral and fans were amazed. The right-hander player scored 77* off 50 deliveries for the kangaroos, and continued to play well till the end.
He made sure that the Aussies reached the upper hand and his innings was embellished with 6 fours and 4 sixes. Marsh went ahead and got the title of the Player of the Match. He deserves it for his amazing knock for sure and at the same time, David Warner emerged as the Player of the Tournament.
