Season 2 of ‘First Kill’: Cast, Plot, and a Possible Premiere Date

At the best of times, teen romance is complicated. Establishing something enduring is nearly impossible when you throw in monsters, feuding families, honor, and responsibility. Season one dealt a crushing blow to our star-crossed lovers, Juliette (a vampire) and Calliope (a hunter).

The following contains major spoilers. Juliette’s mistake of converting Calliope’s dying brother Theo into a vampire was the final straw in their complicated relationship, and the two split up. Theo is now on the run, attempting to flee his father’s relatives, who have vowed to kill him. The vampire family isn’t faring much better, with Juliette’s battered sister, Elinor, in significant legal jeopardy.

Let’s hope First Kill Season 2 is just as exciting… assuming there is one.

Find out more.

First Kill Season 2 Release Date:

With an eight-episode story arc, Netflix’s LGBTQ+ forbidden love story premiered on June 10, 2022.

First Kill Season 2 has yet to be announced. However, based on the several cliffhangers left in the ruins of season one, it was never intended to be a limited series.

It is up to the fans to decide whether the intention for another will become a reality.

It’s a case of supply and demand, so if you want more bloodlust and genuine thirst, keep streaming. If a First Kill Season 2 is greenlit, don’t expect another bloodbath until the summer of 2023.

First Kill Season 2 Cast:

Sarah Catherine Hook and Imani Lewis will reprise their roles as Juliette and Calliope, respectively. Their relationship has been in limbo, and we are yearning for a happy ending.

By the end of season one, Theo’s fate was also in jeopardy, as the freshly turned vampire was on the run. They’re not going to leave this chapter unfinished. With that said, we’ll see you in First Kill Season 2, Phillip Mullings Jr.

We also expected to see the following with them in First Kill Season 2:

Gracie Dzienny plays Elinor, Dylan McNamara plays Oliver, Aubin Wise plays Talia, Elizabeth Mitchell plays Margot, Will Swenson plays Sebastian, Jason Robert Moore plays Jack, and Jonas Dylan Allen plays Ben Wheeler. Dominic Goodman in the role of Apollo. Walnette Marie Santiago plays Carmen.

First Kill Season 2 plot:

We can’t be the only ones that want to ship Calliopette, can we? Juliope? We’re confident that one of them will catch on.

We’re not optimistic after their tumultuous, bitter breakup. Juliette’s mistakenly turning Calliope’s brother Theo into a vampire appears to be a deal-breaker, despite her best efforts to give him a dignified death in First Kill Season 2.

Let’s hope that a season break will provide ample space for past wounds to heal.

Theo’s transformation will almost certainly be the subject of a sequel. Will he be able to accept himself as a bloodsucker, the same evil that killed his mother? What’s more, how will he deal with becoming the hunted? It’s all a little much. Elinor’s role in the Theo-vamp saga has accidentally placed her in police custody in First Kill Season 2. How will she be able to get out of jail without the assistance of her parents? Multiple killings appear to be on the horizon.

In the finale, Talia and Theo seek help from Juliette’s brother Oliver, but the judgment is still out on whether he can be trusted. What this means for Theo is still unknown for First Kill Season 2.

First Kill Season 1 Recap:

The entire city of Savannah is now divided, with many humans (including police officers) belonging to the insensitive MAAM organization, who believe Cal is the vampire. Cal and Apollo are surprised to see Theo with their parents when they return home, and initially, they think he is a monster due to his appearance. Theo begins to act differently, particularly after supper, and he quickly becomes sick with a sour stomach and grief. With fangs replacing his incisors, it gradually becomes evident that he is transforming into a vampire. Despite Talia’s protests, Jack is sure that their son must now be killed, and he prepares to carry out the murder.

Theo manages to break free from his captivity, running into the front lawn with his family coming after him, now that he is as strong as a vampire. Juliette now arrives on the scene and tells something shocking: when cleaning up the mess left by Cal and Apollo after they left her with Theo’s body. She realized the man was alive when he awoke from his coma. Juliette began sucking his blood after painstakingly asking the girl to assist him. Juliette had thought that biting him to death would relieve his pains.

Further story:

However, she could not kill him because of her lack of skill with it and instead transformed him into a monster, a vampire, ravenous for blood. Cal is beyond wounded and enraged by hearing all of this. Theo had calmed down after Juliette let him drink some blood from her arm, and Jack took advantage of the chance to re-capture him. The Burns take him down to the basement again, tying him up tighter, but Talia manages to release her son and flee the house with him. The woman hesitated to let Theo die because he was in a vulnerable state, still seeing him as her son and not a monster or vampire.

She pulls up to a house and leaves Theo with someone she appears to trust, who turns out to be Oliver Fairmont, the devilishly cunning demon. Oliver and Tess lead Theo into their house’s open courtyard, explaining that they had returned to Savannah to cause problems. They then introduce Theo to everyone in their yard, complete with monsters of all sizes and shapes, including vampires, zombies, werewolves, and a variety of other animals. This final scene demonstrates that the antagonist has always been Oliver and Tess. Oliver appears to have always been pure evil, and his ability to persuade Juliette of Elinor’s terrible history is one of his particular abilities. Oliver, the most intellectual and astute of all the other characters and with attributes eerily similar to those of the Devil himself, has amassed a formidable army.

First Kill Season 2 Trailer:

Season one has only recently premiered, so you’ll have to wait a while, but keep checking back for updates. We’ll be just as thirsty as you are.
