Google India recently announced the final results for the Year in Search 2021, as it recapped the top trendy searches of 2021 in India. The list revealed what Indians searched for the most the whole year about many topics such as news, sports, entertainment, and other categories. Check the results below!
Cricket, Covid vaccination and the Tokyo Olympics were among the trendiest searches on Google in 2021. Among the most searched terms in Google, the majority of people wanted to know about the Black Fungus. The list had a variety of queries which ranged from ‘What is Taliban’, ‘What is Remdesivir’, to the academic ones such as ‘What is the factorial of hundred’.
Indian Premier League, vaccine portal CoWIN, the T20 World Cup, Euro Cup and Tokyo Olympics were the overall top trendiest keywords on the Google search engine in India in 2021.
Most searched news events were the
Tokyo Olympics, Black Fungus, Afghanistan, West Bengal elections, Tropical cyclone Tauktae and lockdown. These news made into the top 10 among the most searched news events by Indians.
