Josh Hazlewood opens up about his experience with Chennai Super Kings in the IPL!

The cherished Australian skipper Aaron Finch opens about the experience of skilled cricketer Josh Hazlewood as he was a part of the team while playing for the Chennai Super Kings.  The team did their best in the IPL and Hazlewood helped the Aussie bowlers very well. Hazlewood was Australia’s standout pacer and in the T20 World Cup 2021 too as he was above the likes of Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins.

The player and the right-arm speedster got up 11 wickets from seven matches. It was remarkable to bowl at an economic rate of 7.29. Hazlewood also played for CSK in the UAE where fans saw him getting accustomed to the playing conditions in the UAE. It was before the multi-nation tournament and MS Dhoni’s Super Kings watched the best of Hazlewood. He picked up 11 wickets from nine matches and Finch praised him for that. He said that the pacer hit the back-of-a-length and made it tough for the batters in the match where the presser was seen after Australia’s win over New Zealand in the final which happened on Sunday.

Also, Finch stated that the amazing performance of Hazlewood in  IPL helped him to receive eleven above Kane Richardson. Aaron Finch lauds him for his performance saying, “He (Hazlewood) was really important to our bowling group. To be able to share his experience at CSK was really important – the lengths to bowl, particularly at the end of the tournament, where the wickets start to get a little bit more worn and hard lengths, which is Josh’s speciality, was tough to hit. And it was really important that he passed on that information,” Finch stated while speaking to Sportskeeda.

He then added, “Honestly, his performances in the IPL probably forced his way into the starting XI over Kane Richardson, who is a wonderful T20 bowler and someone who has been so important for us. But yeah, that was a tough call.” Well, the Aussies before the beginning of the world cup looked in a bit of a hole as they lost the bilateral series. It was against Bangladesh and West Indies where they could win only two out of 10 games. Finch said that staying away from bio-bubbles for some time will help the team to get ready for the upcoming World’s Cup.

“Yeah, I think so. The guys’ preparation for the tournament were at different stages. Some were at the IPL; some were playing for state teams; some were rehabbing and coming off injuries. I think that played a part as well,” Finch said and won the hearts of the fans.it is true that all the cricket lovers are eagerly looking forward to the upcoming matches and it will surely catch the attention of many who will be voting for the team and supporting the members.
