Team India visits Scotland’s dressing room after the match, see pics

After the team India won the toss and was elected to field first, the Indian bowling team showcased a mind blowing show and bundled out Scotland for 85 in 17.4 overs. The fiery knocks by the openers Rohit Sharma (30) and KL Rahul (50) were indeed proved to be helpful and India chased down the target in 6.3 overs which boosted their net run rate and also their hopes of making it to the semis.

Well it has to be said that the fate of Virat Kohli and the Indian team is beyond their control in the tournament after they were trashed by Pakistan and New Zealand in the first two games. But now they have bounced back in matches against Afghanistan and Scotland and the factors are surely in their control.

It was only a dream game of the Indian team in the ongoing T20 world cup in UAE. Dehat continued the momentum after they had a 66 win over Afghanistan and the Indian time did it perfectly and performed even better against Scotland. It can be said that this was kind of a gift for skipper Virat Kohli who was also celebrating his 33rd birthday on the same day of the match against Scotland. He described this match as a special evening in the post match presentation and stated that he was blessed to have his family and teammates by his side.

But apart of this matches and the World Cup, the Indian team never forget to keep up the spirit of the game high as Kohli and some other team members like Rohit  Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah and KL Rahul were spotted visiting the Scotland dressing room as the players of both the teams were interacting with each other. This shows that when it comes to sportsmanship, Virat Kohli and his team is never behind. If they play hard on the field to give their best for their country, they are very humble about it and the example of the same was again on the show after the game against Scotland.

The birthday boy, Virat Kohli visited the Scotland dressing room with the team and they delighted all the players by having some encouraging conversations with them. Kyle Coetzer, the Scotland skipper had already shown his excitement about how special it will be for him to stand beside Virat Kohli for the toss and then Viart himself speaking to the team would have been a dream come true for the players of Scotland.

The photos of the amazing interaction between both the team players was shared by the official Twitter handle of Cricket Scotland. The Twitter handle of the Scotland cricket team shared many series of photos of the sweet interaction. In the picture it was seen that Virat Kohli visited their dressing room and had some engaging conversation with the players. Although they didn’t share the pictures of other teammates talking to the players of Scotland, the pictures of Rohit Sharma speaking to Scotland players was taken around on all the social media platforms so it seemed like the whole team reached there.

It was indeed a memorable evening for the birthday boy and he expressed it while speaking after the match. Virat Kohli looked relieved and happy with the performance of the Indian team and he also stated that there will be no special birthday celebrations and how blessed he is to have a family with him during the tough Times. “I’m over that phase now (birthday celebration). My wife and daughter are here and that celebration is enough, the family being here is a blessing in itself,” Kohli said after the match. Indeed a perfect gift for a birthday boy!
