Kitty and Red Forman are back along with their iconic basement for a product group of teenagers in the basement of That 90s Shows. The events of show, which started in 1976, were 22 years old when That 70s Show debuted in 1998.
It’s unfortunate for fans of the original comedy that 25 years will have passed between the pilot episode of That 70s Show and the launch of its sequel/spinoff, “That 90s Show” in 2023.
The show, which takes place in 1995—28 years ago—brings back several members of the original cast and aims to ride the nostalgia trend like previous recent reboots. What is known about That 90s Show is listed below.

On November 29, 2022, the first trailer for That 90s Show was published, introducing a new cast in addition to some of the regulars from That 70s Show as well as the iconic basement setting.
The dynamics between the new kids in the basement were highlighted even more in the official trailer, which was released on December 22. The return of the original cast was also depicted in the official trailer, along with a possible role for each member.
According to the first trailer, that 90s Show will premiere on January 19, 2023. On that date, every episode will be streamable.

Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will reprise their enduring roles as Kitty and Red Forman on That 90s Show.
Callie Haverda plays Leia Forman, who is most likely Eric Forman’s daughter and joins these two as members of the main cast.
Others who have recently joined the cast include Ashley Aufderheide as Gwen, Mace Coronel as Jay, Maxwell Acee Donovan as Nate, Reyn Doi as Ozzie, and Sam Morelos as Nikki, who will be a member of Leia’s room friend group.
Netflix has confirmed that many of the original That 70s Show cast members will make at least one appearance as guests even if they are not part of the main cast.
They include Tommy Chong as Leo Chingkwake, Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti, Ashton Kutcher as Michael Kelso, Mila Kunis as Jackie Burkhart, and Topher Grace as Eric Forman.
That 90s Show will, like the original, feature a new generation hanging out in the Formans’ basement while being kept in check by Kitty and Red. The teenagers will, however, have to cope with issues from the 1990s this time.

There, she makes friends with a new group of kids while being watched over by Kitty and Red, who give her stern looks. Rock ‘n’ roll, drugs, and sex are immortal; they just don new garments.
