The Spanish thriller, directed by Joaqun Górriz and Guillermo López, depicts a group of youngsters who are invited to a private party on a paradise island to introduce a new drink brand.
While it may appear to be the trip of a lifetime at first, things quickly change when the teenagers find that they have all been trapped on the secluded island as part of a violent game with deadly repercussions.
The first season has left us on some pretty nail-biting cliffhangers – and it’s left us with the Welcome To Eden Season 2.
Is there any intention of continuing the story in Welcome To Eden Season 2? Here’s all you need to know about the Welcome To Eden Season 2.
a. Plot of Welcome To Eden Season 2
Rebellions grew in the stressful season one finale, and fans watched as Zoa and Charly attempted to flee the island while using the recruits as a distraction. Like Zoa and her group before them, the new kids had no idea what they were getting themselves into. Just as Charly was about to board the boat, Ulises apprehended Zoe and attacked her as a punishment for attempting to flee. Fortunately, Ibón came to Zoa’s rescue and killed Ulises.
It begs how Ulises’ death will affect Ibón in the upcoming season and how this character will be developed. Meanwhile, Africa discovered a remote area full of technology in Astrid and Erick’s home. It accidently triggered a satellite by hitting a button on one of the panels, sending a signal into space. Alarms began to sound, and the doors closed, locking Africa inside.
Season one finished with the ultimate twist, filled with surprising disclosures and tension. Zoa was about to board the boat that would transport her to freedom when she saw Gabi, her sister, was on her way to the island when she caught sight of her. Gabi appears to be one of the island’s newest visitors after witnessing her struggle to figure out what had happened to her sister in Welcome To Eden Season 2.
Will Zoa join the boat or return home to save her sister? What is the significance of the signal delivered into space? Will Africa be apprehended and punished? What, above all, is the true character of the Eden Foundation? Welcome To Eden Season 2, hopefully, will answer all of these questions.
b. Cast of Welcome To Eden Season 2
If Welcome To Eden Season 2 is approved, the following characters are expected to return:
Amaia Aberasturi (Zoa), Amaia Salamanca (Astrid), Belinda Peregrin (frica), Begoa Vargas (Bel), Diego Garisa (Ibón), Tomy Aguilera (Charly), Berta Castaé (Gabi), Max Sampietro (Isaac), Lola Rodrguez (Mayka), Guillermo Pfening (Erick), Sergio Momo (Nico (Eloy).
Of course, Judith (Ana Mena), Aldo (Albert Baró), Ulises (Alex Pastrana), David (Jason Fernández), and Claudia (Berta Vazquez) all perished in season one, so they’re unlikely to return unless they appear in a flashback scene or make a surprising return from the grave.
c. Release Date of Welcome To Eden Season 2
There has been no official word on the future of Welcome to Eden or a possible Welcome To Eden Season 2 as of May 2022.
The good news is that, because season one finished on a cliffhanger, there’s a potential that the many questions we had after the finale may be resolved – because it indicates the authors have plans for more.
We think that if the Welcome To Eden Season 2 is renewed, we’ll learn more about what happened on the island around the same time next year, in May 2023.
Before deciding whether or not to renew a show, Netflix typically gives it 28 days to generate traffic and a return on investment. This means there’s still time for viewers to tune in and the possibility of Netflix confirming a Welcome To Eden Season 2.
d. Trailer of Welcome To Eden Season 2
There is currently no trailer for Welcome To Eden Season 2 due to the lack of a guaranteed renewal. If Welcome To Eden Season 2 is approved, the trailer will be released in the upcoming launch month.
In the meantime, you can view the season one trailer or binge-watch the series on Netflix until we can provide you with further information about Welcome To Eden Season 2.
e. What has happened till Welcome To Eden?
Nobody knew who had threatened Astrid’s life. It wasn’t Bel, and it certainly wasn’t Claudia. After completing a walking ceremony on flaming coal, the newcomers were inducted into the cult. Bel had asked Astrid to keep an eye on Zoa, and the latter had given her permission. Chico is insecure because he is no longer the “Link” and is assigned to a different room. Ibon’s father hired a private detective to go to Zoa’s mother’s house and gather additional information.
Zoa understands that the only way off the island is through the underwater caves. They could get aboard a boat and flee to find one of those.
In the middle of the night, an unknown assailant attacks Erick and Astrid. When Erick is stabbed, Astrid brings her to a woman named Nuria and a small kid named Issac, who live on a remote island. He was the same youngster Zoa had seen in the middle of the night but dismissed her delusional mind’s creation. Issac is an expert at doing intricate medical procedures, ensuring Erick’s survival. On the island, allegiances were shifting. The uprising was gaining momentum. Chico felt insecure as Bel and Zoa grew closer. Bel was now assisting Zoa, Charly, and Ibano to flee. The detective had located Gabi and was closing in on the truth. Astrid’s men put an end to David, who had been approached by Gabi, after learning that they had met and that Gabi had attempted to obtain information about Eden.
Welcome To Eden
A new group of 100 people was scheduled to arrive on the island. Gabi changed her demeanor to ensure that she was considered and transferred to Eden. It was determined that Zoa, Abano, and Charly would be given responsibilities at the upcoming celebration, but Africa would not. She felt left out and believed that she would not have been discriminated against if Erick had been present. Erick was no longer on the scene because Issac had been stabbed and treated.
Bel, in the meantime, had made arrangements for diving suits. They were going to be used by Charly, Zoa, and Ibon to getaway. Charly manages to flee, but Ulises apprehends Zoa. Ulises is killed by Ibon, who arrives just in time. They swim quickly towards the boat when Zoa observes something that astounds her. Gabi is in the fres
