Facial yoga helps to tone up your cheekbones, have a perfect jawline and give a perfect structure. But before moving on to some simple face yogas, let’s understand what it is?

    What is face yoga?

    Face yoga is a type of exercise that you can follow to have a perfect structure of your face. You have to do some particular facial expressions to tone up your facial muscles. You follow some of the facial expressions every day, like smiling, talking, etc. But you know, that’s not enough. There are some series of facial expressions that are intended to tone your face muscles, so it’s kinda like yoga.     Basic things to be noted before starting face yoga:

    • Practicing face yoga twice a day will surely help to give you the best results at a faster rate. 
    • Each exercise should be done for at least 30 to 45 seconds.
    • It is not as easy as you expect. It might become tough sometimes as some facial expressions become quite hard to follow. But as time flows, you will become used to it.

    1. Lifting your cheeks:

    Open your mouth and make an “O” and hide your teeth with the use of your lips. Smile to lift your cheek muscles and put your fingers on the top part of your cheeks. Release the cheek muscles so that you can lower them and then lift them back up. 

    1.  Smooth up your fine lines!

    Place your fingers on your forehead and swirl towards your hairline. Repeat this for smooth fine lines.

    1. For a perfect jawline:

    Keep your shoulders relaxed and point your chin towards the ceiling and give a good stretch in the upper neck and chin area. Make a duck lip and stick out your tongue. Make each pose for 5 seconds.

    1. Reduce the lines around your eyes:

    Wide-open your eyes and with your hands pull your forehead skin back. This exercise will help to reduce the unwanted lines that are around your eyes.

    1. Reduce double chin:

    Tilt your head sideways on your right side and hold it for a few seconds. This will help to stretch the muscles of your neck. Repeat it on your left side also. You can also move your neck either clockwise or anticlockwise a few times.
