A 4-month-old Turkish cat became an internet sensation as it has two sets of ears!

We often find so many adorable animals and pets on the Internet that tend to make a day and bring a smile to our faces. Well, currently a story of such a small adorable kitten is going viral on the Internet and is a must to know about. Midas is a small kitten who was born with two sets of ears and a defective jaw. It is due to a genetic mutation. Well, the cute animal is a four-month-old Turkish cat now and is becoming an internet sensation. 

Yes, you read that right as the kitten and now has more than 73,000 followers on social media and is loved by many netizens. The young feline was born in a backyard in Ankara. It was alongside five siblings born on the same day and was later adopted by Canis Dosemeci and her family. The family couldn’t control and just fell in love with Midas at first sight. They impatiently wanted to take her in and add a new member to their family. Also, the family thought that her chances of finding a home would be very difficult and due to her unique condition, they wanted to have her in their family.

 “We have never thought of buying a cat, we just wanted to rescue a cat from the street, and we wanted to adopt her,” said Dosemeci. The family also has two Golden Retrievers, Zeyno and Suzi, to keep Midas company at home and Midas is surely living her best life now. She is a four-month-old kitten born with four ears and is seen with her owner Canis Dosemeci, along with Suzy and Zeynep the dogs. They live happily as one family at their home in Ankara, Turkey. Midas is a name that comes from the mythological king of Phrygia. The king was saddled with donkey ears but could turn everything he touched into gold. 

This fact got the internet fame with social media posts about her daily life along with their dogs Suzi and Zeyno. Midas’ looks may be unusual, but luckily her condition does not affect her health or hearing.  All four of her ear flaps are connected to the ear canal and her family hopes that Midas’ popularity can persuade people to adopt pets rather than buying them. Dosemeci said that she hopes Midas’ popularity can persuade people to adopt pets by saying,  “People are so surprised, they can’t believe it,” Dosemeci said. 

“Everyone wants to come to see her, or they want photos. “Some people also find her scary, but generally people think her sympathetic.” All the social media users were surprised to know how supportive the family is towards those who are facing such health conditions. also many social media users who came across the social media handle of the kitten and supported the idea of the family and praised them in the comments section of the posts.
