    Anand Mahindra gifts SUV to man who built a jeep with scrap metal! Read full story !

    If you are an active social media user, you may know how Anand Mahindra has supported the talented people. He has promised many talented people out there for help, and the man never takes his words back. Time and again Anand Mahindra has always supported innovators and creative minds. Well, the internet and especially social media plays a big role here.

    The videos and photos going viral on the internet always attracts Anand Mahindra. Many people have gone viral whose jugaad technology has left the world impressed. As Anand Mahindra sees the potential, he extends a support or a help.  Now, he also shared about how his company gifted a new vehicle to the Maharashtra blacksmith. The blacksmith who went viral for building a car by refurbishing old parts and with scrap metal.

    Dattatraya Lohar from Devrashtre village caught the attention and went super viral recently. He grabbed the attention of many people online, including Anand Mahindra too. He grabbed the attention of Anand Mahindra last month after a video of his iron car went viral. Lohar’s car was actually built from scratch. It was also powered by a two-wheeler engine. The auto-rickshaw tyres, attached to it, and overall look may have looked like a rugged jeep. But that was effective enough to wow all the people online.

    “I’ll personally offer him a Bolero in exchange,” the business tycoon had tweeted, saying that time. He said that the local authorities will sooner or later stop him from plying the vehicle. They will do so for flouting regulations.

    Anand Mahindra promised to preserve the man’s creation at Mahindra Research Valley.  The well known business tycoon on Tuesday gave an update. He updated that the man accepted their offer and he was then given a new SUV in exchange.

    “Yesterday his family received the Bolero & we proudly took charge of his creation. It will be part of our collection of cars of all types at our Research Valley & should inspire us to be resourceful,” the business tycoon wrote. He also shared a few heartwarming images of the blacksmith looking happy with his new SUV.

    The photos showcased Lohar along with his wife and children riding in their new family car.

    As the video of his unusual vehicle went viral, the talented man had explained the reason to build the car.  He explained that  he built the car for his children. His children wanted to ride a four-wheeler. However, because of financial problems, he couldn’t afford one.

    “This clearly doesn’t meet with any of the regulations but I will never cease to admire the ingenuity and ‘more with less’ capabilities of our people. And their passion for mobility—not to mention the familiar front grille,” the businessman had written as he shared the video.

    As usual, people were quite happy with the sweet gesture of the businessman. The tycoon never fails to impress the internet by fulfilling the promise. People on social media loved Mahindra’s gesture. People also believed that the man’s car surely would inspire many engineers in years. It would inspire to come to build something as innovative as his creation. The comment section was  also filled with praises.

    A user commented, “India needs “capable”visionaries with “engineering excellence”, to undertake R&D and manufacture cost effective alternatives to numerous prohibitively expensive foreign manufactured medical devices. A huge void. “Mahindra” maybe?”

    While the other one said, “You are the man of commitments sir ,Hats Off. I remember your tweet regarding this creativity and then your promise to give a new Bolero in exchange for the vehicle made by the man.”

    Yet one user said, “You have done a great deal in encouraging innovators, most of whom come from humble backgrounds. This is noble work. Congratulations and felicitations.”

    Once again, Mahindra proved that he is the man of his words. And once again, he impressed the internet by keeping his promise.
