The spread of coronavirus is increasing day by day. The spread was even worse before the vaccine was found. Since the vaccinations started, it has become kinda easier to control the spread of the virus. In the beginning, many people were kinda nervous and had tension regarding vaccines. What would be the side effects? Are the side effects worse? Some said the body hurts badly, is it true? How long will the side effects of vaccines last? This type of question may be running through your mind before taking the vaccine. But as now the government and doctors have shared some guidelines from which we came to know that it is completely safe to take the vaccine and the side effects are really common amongst all and in fact, it means that the vaccine is working properly.
As you may know, vaccines play an important role to build immunity in your body, but as per some of the doctors, due to the inflammatory mediators spread throughout the body, it may cause a mild fever, muscles aches, and also headaches. While on the other hand, some people may not face any side effects and that’s perfectly normal. Still the vaccine is proved to be effective.
The common symptoms that most people face are:
- Soreness around the injection site
- Mild fever
- Body weakness
- Muscle pain
But to avoid the severe effects of the vaccine, the doctors have advised some ways to control it. Like, if someone has severe body pain or headache, they can have paracetamol, but cannot take any painkiller though. Also, one has to take a lot of rest in order to recover quickly from the side effects, as your body may be weak too. To recover from the body weakness, try to keep aside all the work for a while. After getting the vaccination, a week’s rest is a must.
Having healthy foods such as eating more green vegetables, having lots of fruits especially vegetables such as broccoli, and also having eggs in your diet will help you to recover quickly. Having foods that are high in nutrients, proteins and vitamins are very essential to recover from the side effects, and try to avoid processed foods and junk foods for a while. Avoid taking a lot of caffeine and alcohol as it may be harmful to your health.
In most cases, discomfort and mild fever are very normal, but if the fever exceeds a certain point or if you have muscle pain or body ache that is very discomforting, then you should surely contact your nearby doctor and consult about it.
As you may know that these side effects are really common amongst all and according to the CDC, the side effects usually start within a day or two of taking the vaccine but these side effects may last for only a few days or just for a week. So there are no worries regarding side effects as it may come to an end in a week.
