The date for the release of the film Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Returning are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Few things rise from New York City’s sewers that make people joyful. One can be afraid of witnessing odd and nasty creatures emerge from the underground, such as the fabled NYC Pizza Rats and sewer alligators from folklore. Fortunately, the people could be a little more excited when the next group of animals emerges from the sewers.

They may appreciate a cheesy slice of pizza, much like the pizza rat, but they also like crime fighting and bright colors. And yes, they have been known to hang out with a few rats. If you hadn’t already guessed, our favorite four mutant turtles are returning to the big screen. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back in this continuation of the series finale from Nickelodeon’s 2018 Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. In August 2022, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie will emerge from a sewer grate near you and land on Netflix.

The film will involve:

  • A conflict with the Krang.
  • A group of evil aliens that have appeared in previous installments.
  • The welcome return of a familiar figure.

The movie will follow the animated Nickelodeon series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The show was on from July 20, 2018, through August 7, 2020. Everything we know about the movie is in below.

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie Release date

On August 5, 2022, Netflix will make Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie available for viewing. In February 2019, Netflix made the project’s involvement public. Currently, there are no indications that the movie will be out in theatres. The movie’s production was on April 7, 2022, and the film was initially out to be ready on August 27, 2021. Sadly, the release date had to be late because manufacturing could not be completed in time. This might have occurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which at the time led to several reschedules and delays for essential projects.

The cast of Rising of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie

The Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series commended the strong voice acting. Most of the cast will reprise their roles for the movie, which is good news for fans.

The titular turtles are back, with Ben Schwartz (Parks & Recreation), Omar Benson Miller (CSI Miami), Brandon Mychal Smith (Sonny with a Chance), and Josh Brener (Silicon Valley) as Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello, respectively. The supporting cast is also coming back. As the mutated rat Splinter, sensei, and father figure to the turtles, Eric Bauza (Ren & Stimpy) will return. The voice of April O’Neil, the turtles’ human ally and elder sister figure, is provided by Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries). Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense) unexpectedly joined the cast later.

He will join the fight by providing Casey Jones, a follower of the turtles from the future who is come to alert them to danger, with his voice. More well-known characters from the television show participate in the movie’s development. The television series work will be continued in the film, directed by Ant Ward and Andy Suriano. Netflix will release the movie, which Nickelodeon Movies and Nickelodeon Animation Studio will make. For the film, Matt Mahaffey wrote the music. He contributed to the television show and has written the music for several more Nickelodeon programs. “I think, if you’re watching the show and you’re a fan of the show, you will get a complete experience with the movie. But it will also be a fascinating stand-alone set piece if you’re not directly familiar with the show.”

Trailer

Early in July, Netflix published the comedy-action animated film’s official trailer. The turtles stop an automobile chase that is moving at high speed in the trailer’s opening scene. After that, a character that many franchise fans could recognize is revealed. Casey Jones has returned, this time as a pupil of the turtles from the future and the grandson of Cassandra Jones, the turtles’ former foe who has now become an ally.

He sends a prophecy that the Krang, an alien race, would destroy the Earth. Jones has been ready to the past to stop the impending onslaught and preserve the world before it’s too late. Sadly, it appears that the Krang has already been ready, which is terrible news for our squad. Even worse, a mishap causes the turtles to lose their mystic abilities. The turtles and their motley crew of warriors will have to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to destroy the Krang with the destiny of the Earth in their hands.
