This post of Umngot river from Shillong will leave you speechless! Boat flies in the Air?

Well, the news of the Yamuna river turning completely toxic every single day is no longer a hidden news now. The news regarding the river continuing to reel under toxic foam and so many pollutants has been surfacing repeatedly on the internet for a while now. Well, not only the images from the Yamuna river are going viral now but also at the same time images of a stunning river have taken the internet by storm. 

The stunning crystal-looking clear river from Meghalaya has left many social media users in awe and surely one look will make you want to visit the beautiful place. The Ministry of Jal Shakti posted the image on their official Twitter account and shared the mind-blowing aerial view of the pristine Umngot river. The amazing images of the river showing how clear and Beautiful it is will make your heart warm.

The river is located in Shillong and the post was shared on November 16. Well, in the photo, you can see the beauty of the river. The water is so clean that one can clearly see the pebbles and stones beneath the river. The picture is a treat for eyes and many social media users stated their need to go for a boat ride in this river. Also, as the boat appears in the image it has caught the attention of many netizens as it looks to be gliding on air. 

In the picture, one can also see five people in the boat on the river bed that looks totally magical and out of the world. There aren’t many ripples either and the photo has a greenish tone.  All the nature-lovers have found the calming and totally fell in love with its soothing ness. “One of the cleanest rivers in the world. It is in India. River Umngot, 100 Kms from Shillong, in Meghalaya state. It seems as if the boat is in the air; the water is so clean and transparent. Wish all our rivers were as clean. Hats off to the people of Meghalaya,” said the Ministry of Jal Shakti on their Twitter account. A social media user said, “Wow! Splendid.” Some were also wary of people going there and polluting the river. 

“Don’t add much otherwise so many people will go there and make this river as like Yamuna, stated a Twitter user. On November 9, the Delhi government spoke about the foam in the Yamuna river, they sprayed water, used boats, and attempted to erect a makeshift barricade on the Yamuna. Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC),  Irrigation and Flood Control Department and the Revenue Department took on the challenging task. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court said that strict measures will be released after November 21 to improve the Air Quality Index in the city.
