For the two-part Fast & Furious finale, which is being shot back-to-back, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and the cast are back. They include Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez), Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), Tej Parker (Ludacris), Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster), Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel), and Han Lue (Sung Kang).
Brie Larson’s role will be a “timeless” and “wonderful” element of the series “mythology,” according to Diesel, while Jason Momoa joins Fast & Furious, Fas X as a new antagonist alongside Charlize Theron’s returning antagonist Cipher.
While it’s logical to suppose that the characters of Fast X would use automobiles and other various vehicles to thwart a serious threat, if not rescue the planet, for the time being, plot specifics are being kept a closely-guarded secret. What we can discuss about this upcoming film is its core cast, which includes both established actors like Vin Diesel and up-and-coming ones like Jason Momoa. So let’s go through who we might expect to see during the Fast X events.
Vin Diesel in Fast X
Alongside the exception of 2 Fast 2 Furious, Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, co-starred as the primary character with Brian O’Connor, played by Paul Walker. Walker sadly died away in 2013, therefore Furious 7 marked Brian’s final appearance and Dom formally took over as the primary protagonist of this tale. He and Mia Toretto, played by Jordana Brewster, stumbled upon their estranged brother Jakob Toretto, played by John Cena. Jakob originally got into arguments with Cipher, but at the end of the film, he had made amends with his siblings. You can depend on Dom from Diesel to once again guide his team through a mission filled with street racing and explosives.
Michelle Rodriguez Return in Fast X
Although Michelle Rodriguez has been a part of the Fast X, & Furious series from the start, it wasn’t until Fast X, & Furious 6 that she began playing a more significant role in these films. Letty Ortiz continues to accompany her husband Dominic Toretto on his antics, and the two are also relishing parenthood together by raising young Brian, Dom’s child with the late Elena Reves. Rodriguez is the major female actor in the Fast X, & Furious film series, so don’t anticipate her to take a back seat when this story comes to an end.
Jason Momoa to be seen in Fast X
In the list of newcomers, first up is Jason Momoa, who has already earned a strong reputation in the franchise through to his roles as Duncan Idaho in Dune, Khal Drago in Game of Thrones, and Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe. Momoa has confirmed he will be portraying a villain in the Fast X, & Furious franchise, describing him as a “really flamboyant bad kid” with “a little panache,” even if the character’s name hasn’t been revealed yet. While it’s unclear if Momoa’s character and Charlize Theron’s Cipher will be working together or pursuing different goals, they will appear onscreen together.
Many old characters will also return in this title.
Behind the scenes, Fast X underwent a significant alteration, but everything now appears to be back on track for Fast X, as it is officially known.
The initial plan was for Justin Lin to helm the remaining two installments of the series. But while production was still going on, he resigned from his position as director in late April 2022, and Louis Leterrier took over.
Since that alteration, shooting has continued without interruption, and hopefully, we’ll still be reconnecting with Dom and company in May 2023.
The series’ ending with this two-part conclusion may be disappointing to fans of the show.
What can we anticipate from the Fast and Furious 10 plot?
Fast & Furious 9 wraps off everything quite cleanly, so there isn’t much we can infer about what the two-part conclusion will be about.
There are a few rumored plots such as if Mr. Nobody is still alive and what Jakob will do next, but they seem more like side stories than significant preludes to the saga’s future.
The credits scene, in which Han visits Shaw and, naturally, surprises him to see him, is the one significant tease for the upcoming film. Will Shaw let go of the past now that he unintentionally assisted Han in keeping Project Aries secure? We have to wait till it releases to find out.
Fast X—is this past the final one?
The Fast Saga might more than fairly be categorized as a superhero movie by the time of 2021’s F9. The ultimate exploits of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his close friends, whom he refers to as “family,” are finally in sight with the release of Fast X. Fast X is a landmark, but it won’t be the final Fast & Furious film.
Has fast and furious 10 been filmed?
Fast & Furious 10 is currently preparing to begin production in January 2022.
Will there be anything further after fast X?
Fast & Furious 10 will conclude the current major plot line in the franchise, as has been rumored for a few years. Today, Deadline reports that the main movie will in fact conclude with numbers 10 and 11.
