Due to the spread of coronavirus, the government has taken many safety measures and has advised not to go outside. Because of this, the government has announced a lockdown so that everyone can stay at home safely. Quarantine is a great way to fight against COVID-19. But as a result of this lockdown, we may have gone through many physical and mental changes.
Some people may have noticed a gain in weight due to the lockdown. These changes in weight can occur due to the change in our daily life, the change in the way we used to live before COVID-19. As we have a lot of time now, the ones who cannot cook can learn how to cook and the ones who can cook can explore more recipes. You can search for some recipes that can give you nutrition and you can also search for some healthy diet recipes and try it! Incorporating a lot of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and avoiding oily foods or junk foods can help to keep your body fit and can help in weight loss.
Think about the proportions you eat:
Take into consideration the portions you eat. Consider incorporating salads in your meals. Try avoiding snacks and have fruits and salads instead. Drink a lot of water to maintain your body. Try to break your meals and have it in small proportions.
Have a good sleep:
Having not enough sleep can make you obese. Try to have at least 7 hours of sleep. This pandemic has altered our lifestyles and because of this we usually don’t care about sleep. But it plays an important role in maintaining a fit body and having a peaceful mind too.
Do yoga, exercises, or intense workout: Depending on how much you want to lose weight and how fast, you can choose to do yoga and exercises. Follow some YouTube channels which show a perfect workout at home to lose weight or channels which show yogas to maintain your body. Workout for at least 30-45 minutes every day. Working out in the morning is the best time to do so. If the park nearest to your home is open, then go for a walk. It will help you with your mood also.
