Read Everything on New Apple TV+ Series “WeCrashed”

The stratospheric ascent and abrupt, humiliating fall of WeWork, the office leasing firm, is one of the most significant cautionary tales in Silicon Valley history, rivaling Elizabeth Holmes’s Theranos. (This is also being adapted for television as The Dropout, starring Amanda Seyfried.) That narrative will now be the focus of a new Apple TV+ series called WeCrashed.

According to the deadline, “WeCrashed will chronicle the avaricious ascent and ultimate demise of WeWork, one of the world’s most valuable businesses, and the narcissists whose tumultuous love made it all possible. In less than a decade, WeWork went from a single coworking space to a worldwide brand worth $47 billion. Then its value dropped in less than a year. What transpired?”

In this blog, you will read about all the information we have come across so far about the new apple Tv+ series “Wecrashed”

The first trailer for WeCrashed is now available.

The trailer for Apple’s new original program WeCrashed, featuring Academy Award winners Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway, has been revealed. The first three episodes of this limited series Apple original will premiere internationally on Apple TV+ on March 18th. This will be followed by a new episode every Friday until April 22.

In the WeCrashed teaser, Adam Neumann (Jared Leto) states, “Come with me, and let’s construct the future together.” The show depicts how they thought they were “selling an experience,” how they lost millions of dollars and Rebecca Neumann’s (Anne Hathaway) personal pursuit for success.

WeCrashed also depicts Hathaway and Leto as Rebekah and Adam, escorting clients through their headquarters and discussing their principles to enthusiastic audiences. We next show WeWork employees arrive by bus for the company’s annual summer camp, as the gorgeous pair exits a helicopter. “WeWork isn’t just a corporation – it’s a movement,” Leto adds in a steely monotone that sends thrills up your spine. Later, when Miguel McKelvey, played by Kyle Marvin, informs him, “You realize you’re not god, right?” he merely shrugs. “You have to admit, I do resemble him a little.”

What exactly is the storyline of WeCrashed?

WeCrashed, directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra and created by Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crivello, will be based on the podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork, which tells the decade-long narrative in six riveting episodes. It delves into Adam’s adolescent years on a kibbutz, his arrival in New York for college, and his fortuitous first encounters with Miguel McKelvey and Rebekah, as well as the accounts of former friends and collaborators whose initial enthusiasm for the WeWork philosophy quickly, turned to skepticism and disillusionment.

“The series is inspired by true events – and the love story at the heart of it all,” Apple says, implying that Adam and Rebekah’s romance will receive plenty of attention. However, it is unknown how many of the bizarre anecdotes about the couple will make it into the series. What about the time Adam supposedly ate a lamb shank in the workplace after he banned meat from WeWork due to environmental concerns? Or when Rebekah allegedly dismissed individuals because she didn’t like their energy, or when Adam allegedly hired Run-DMC to perform for staff and handed out shots shortly after a meeting about cost-cutting redundancies?

Or, more recently, when he flew to Israel on a private plane and the crew allegedly discovered a large amount of marijuana on board after he disembarked? There will undoubtedly be enough material for the eight scheduled episodes.

The Oscar winner star cast in WeCrashed

Oscar winners Leto and Hathaway have signed on to play WeWork cofounders Adam Neumann and Rebekah Paltrow Neumann, respectively, and will also serve as executive producers on the project.

WeCrashed also stars O-T Fagbenle as an investor Cameron Lautner, Kyle Marvin as WeWork’s other founder Miguel McKelvey, and America Ferrera as Elishia Kennedy, a young entrepreneur.

Eisenberg and Crivello developed WeCrashed and also serve as co-writers, executive producers, and co-showrunners. The show was created by John Requa and Glen Ficarra. Along with Charlie Gogolak, Anne Hathaway, and Natalie Sandy, Requa and Ficarra serve as executive producers. Leto and Emma Ludbrook, as well as Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy, and Aaron Hart from Wondery, serve as executive producers through their Paradox production business.
