“You and I could go on the road.” Barack Obama meets a little girl at a vaccination center!

Former US President Barack Obama again tends to make it to the headlines because of his adorable discussion on the book ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ with a little girl. They both met at a vaccination center and the two seemed to get along quite well together. 

Obama said, “You and I could go on the road.” He was accompanied by Dr Anthony Fauci, White House Chief Medical Advisor. Well, Obama visited the vaccine site located at Kimball Elementary School in southeast Washington. There he became good friends with a child as they are both fond of  ‘Green Eggs and Ham’, which is written by Dr Seuss. In the now-going viral clip, which was initially shared on Twitter, you can see Obama along with the kid, asking her, “Do you have any favourite book?” Replying to this question the little girl says, “Green Eggs and Ham.”

 Very pleased to hear that, Barack Obama says “That’s one of my favourite too…That is a classic.” he then Further added, “I don’t like green eggs and ham” to which the little girl can be seen agreeing with him.  “You see there. You and me,” Obama adds and says ” I do not like them in a box.” While the girl replies, “I do not like them with a fox.” Later, he says, “You know what – you and I could go on the road. That’s fantastic. That’s one of my favourite books.” “I thought I knew Green Eggs and Ham better than most people, but at Kimball Elementary’s vaccination site earlier this month I finally met my match,” said Obama in his tweet. 

The viral video has got more than 57 lakh views and all the social media users who came across the video clip were left delighted. Netizens loved the adorable interaction between the former US President and the little girl after watching the video. Some social media users also felt nostalgic where many others were seen praising Obama for his ‘kind’ behavior. As per an Independent report, Obama also gave out stickers and complemented children’s fashion choices when he visited one of the District of Columbia public schools. 

Kids between the age of five and 11 years also got more than their doses of the Pfizer vaccine at the school. Barack Obama’s visit to the vaccine site on December 1 was part of the Joe Biden-led government’s push for children getting inoculated against Covid-19. It was conducted ahead of the winter season and Obama stated, “The holiday season we have one more thing to be thankful for and that is we can get kids vaccinated if they are between the ages of 5 and 11. And this is really important,” in a video. Former First Lady Michelle Obama had also previously promoted vaccination in a PSA.

 It was released earlier where six parents of celebrities including Jonah Hill and Beanie Feldstein’s mother, Sharon Feldstein; John David Washington’s mom, Pauletta Washington; Alicia Keys’s mother, Terria Joseph; Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine’s mom, Patsy Noah; Zendaya’s mom, Claire Stoermer; and NBA player Chris Paul’s mom, Robin Paul were seen in the clio. The women’s group reaffirmed that they are all set to use every trick in the mom book so that they can make sure that their kids and other people’s kids are getting vaccinated.
